Benefits of Membership


The Alabama Automotive Manufacturers Association (AAMA) was formed in 2001 to provide a forum for interaction among automotive companies in Alabama, to share information among its members and to provide an awareness of manufacturing trends, techniques and concerns.

Mission:

Promote growth and continuous improvement of automotive manufacturing in Alabama

Objectives:

  • Improve automotive manufacturing processes and systems in Alabama
  • Provide strategic direction for workforce development in Alabama
  • Conduct programs to share knowledge on issues impacting the automotive industry in Alabama

Membership dues are based on number of employees in Alabama:

  • 1 - 199 Employees: $300
  • 200 - 499 Employees: $400
  • 500 - 999 Employees: $600
  • 1000+ Employees: $900

AAMA Membership Requirements:


AAMA membership is open only to companies directly involved in the automotive industry, specifically:

1.  Companies engaged in the manufacturing of automotive vehicles in Alabama or states in the southern automotive region of the U.S.  
2.  Suppliers and distributors of parts to automotive manufacturers and aftermarket distributors in Alabama that are located in Alabama or states in the southern automotive region of the U.S. 
3.  Other companies and organizations (in the southern automotive region of the U.S.) with demonstrated experience in manufacturing trends, techniques or services for the automotive industry.
